A Plus Industrial Installation was founded in 1981, forged from a vision of our founder, Les Simonek. His son, Dean Simonek, is carrying that vision forward today as President, embracing the values and work ethic taught by his father. We are proud of our reputation as a family owned business and we consider our clients an extension of our family. We make them feel a part of our family with a collaborative effort company wide, from our president to our skilled hourly workers.

Since 1981, our goal has been to build a company focused on providing exceptional value to our clients with a commitment to service and cost controls that exceed their expectations. The term A+ is synonymous with outstanding performance, service, and value. Our corporate name is Surpass Inc., and our ideology is to “surpass” or usurp your previous level of satisfaction with previous contractors. We are confident in our abilities to do so.

Our professional team of Project Managers, Engineers, Millwrights, Ironworkers, Electricians, Pipefitters, and Concrete Services is committed to delivering the legacy service that has elevated A Plus Industrial Installation to the company it is today. We invite you to join our team.

As an industrial contractor we offer a myriad of services which include general contracting, machinery and conveyor installations, machinery moving and rigging, equipment retrofitting or overhauls, structural steel fabrication, steel erection, equipment demolition, design/build services, laser alignment, and plant maintenance. Our projects range from half a day to complete turnkey installations. Although we are centrally based in the heart of the south in Dallas-Ft Worth, we have built a nationwide presence by completing projects all over the United States.

Our client base spans a broad spectrum of industries, delivering exceptional service to the Aerospace, Automotive, Baggage Handling, Bottling, Building Products, Bulk Material Handling, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Paper Mills, Packaging, and Package/Mail Sorting.

We do this by providing exceptional talented employees and providing them with cutting-edge state of the art equipment and technology to minimize the downtime. We adhere to the old adage of “you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.”

Crowd-sourced Disruption in the Automotive Industry

Open Source VehicleAny heavily invested industry runs the risk of creative destruction.  For the automotive industry, the infrastructure built on the old 3-year model of concept design, engineering, repackaging, modeling, testing, refining, approving and retooling factories for efficiency before production ever begins has become sluggish and increasingly obsolete.  Advances in manufacturing have given new competition the edge on rapid development to meet changing markets.  This does not bode well for those traditional workers whose job is to bring new concepts down the long road to market.  These advances can however, create new opportunities to take bold steps that redefine the industry.

Age of Carbon: Rebuilding the World One Atom at a Time

Flexible GrapheneGraphene is a single layer of carbon atoms held together by a covalent bond.  The carbon atoms are structured in a honey-comb lattice with one atom at each vertex of the structure.  It has length and width but because it is a single atom thick, it has no practical height.  It is the strongest material we know, stronger than diamonds and 100 times stronger than steel at the same hypothetical thickness.  Graphene has conductive properties, allowing heat and electricity to pass through it very efficiently. It can also store electricity.  It is impermeable, flexible, transparent, hydrophobic, non-corrosive and biocompatible.
